Step 1- Ordering your stone. You can make an appointment to order a monument by calling 434-836-5888. We do require at least half payment up front and the final balance is due once the stone is installed. Once payment is made on an order, it is moved to active order status. We then order your stone from our suppliers in Georgia. Most orders can be completed within 90-120 days, but please note that specialty orders may have extended wait times based on the amount of time it takes to get the item from the vendor(s). You will be notified if there is an unexpected delay.

Step 2- Designing your stone. Our artists will work with you in designing your stone to your specifications, and either email or mail you a proof. It is important that you review the dates and spellings to ensure the proof is accurate. If you are purchasing a double memorial, it is important that the placement of the names is on the correct side. Once the design has been approved, the stone will be ready to sandblast or etch.

Step 3- Engraving your stone. Once your proof is approved and your stone has been received from our vendor, our trained monument masons will sandblast or etch your stone and prepare it for installation.

Step 4- Installing your stone. It is important that you give us detailed directions to the cemetery and to the grave. If there is a funeral tag still at the grave, please let us know. If there is nothing for us to identify the grave, you will need to mark the grave. We have flags available at the office.

Once your monument is installed, we will call you by the next day and let you know that everything has been completed. Any balance left on your account is expected to be paid at that time.

We will do everything we can to install your monument by your expected install date, but please keep in mind that factors such as weather and stone availability from our suppliers can sometimes affect that date.
