Foundation Pads and Mowing Aprons
A foundation pad is a granite slab which is installed in the ground and serves as protection and support for your monument. The advantage of a foundation pad is that it evens out the weight of your headstone and gives support where the ground is unstable. These pads also enhance the appearance of a monument since the base will sit on top of the pad rather than buried partially in the ground. A foundation pad also aids in keeping your monument safe from mowing equipment in the cemetery. The foundation pad is an inexpensive way to protect your investment.
A cement mowing apron is when we pour cement around the monument once it is installed in the ground.
